Michael Charles Morgan Sr.
Michael Charles Morgan Sr., 53, of Elliott died Saturday, June 23, 2012, at his residence. He was born on Aug. 14, 1958, to Clyde Morgan and Lorene Woods. He was a member of Leflore Baptist Church and a founding member of BBD hunting club.
He is survived by one son Michael Morgan Jr. (Heather) of Elliott; two daughters, Misty Winter (Dwayne) of Tillatoba and Taylor Hill (Jonathan) of Scobey; his mother, Lorene Sanders of Elliott; three brothers, Larry Ingram of Newton, Kan., Billy Morgan of Elliot and Steve Morgan of Grenada; four grandchildren, Dakoyta Winter, Syerria Winter, Presley Morgan, and Natalie Hill; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a lifetime friend, Donna Fisk.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Morgan; brother, Roy “Scooter” Sanders; grandmother, Glendora Beckum and step-father, Roy Amos Sanders.
Visitation was held Tuesday, June 26, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Garner-Harper Funeral Home with the service following at 3 p.m. in Garner-Harper Chapel. Interment followed in Elliott Baptist Church Cemetery.
Garner-Harper Funeral Home was in charge.
