Terry Lee Bailey
   Terry Lee Bailey, 54, of Cascilla, died Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Southaven. He was born on Sept. 27, 1957, in Greenwood, to James Lee and Peggy Terry Bailey. Mr. Bailey was a heavy equipment operator with MDOT, and a member of the Cascilla Baptist Church.
   Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 13, at 1 p.m. at Garner-Harper Funeral Home with funeral services following at 3 p.m. at Garner-Harper Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at New Smith Cemetery in Cascilla.
   Survivors include, his wife, Deb Smith Bailey of Cascilla; his mother, Peggy Terry Bailey of Holcomb; daughter, Jamie Bailey Williams (Robert) of Brussels, Belgium; one son, Jared Bailey (Christian) of Cascilla; granddaughter, Lucy Claire Bailey of Cascilla; brothers, Tim Bailey and Joel Bailey both of Holcomb; and special family friend, George “Boots” Manuel of Holcomb.
   Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his father.

Donald W. Barnes
   Funeral services for Donald W. Barnes, 65, of Grenada, were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, at National Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Hill Cemetery in Grenada.
   Mr. Barnes died June 10, 2012, at the Grenada Living Center.
   He was born on Sept. 4, 1946, in Oxford to the late Frank and Elsie Vick Barnes.
   Mr. Barnes was a member of Faith Fellowship Church. He was employed as a night auditor at hotels in the Batesville and Grenada area.
   In addition to his parents, preceding Mr. Barnes in death is his brother, Michael Lee Barnes.
   Survivors include his wife, Janet Barnes of Grenada; one step-daughter, Shannon Mosley Thompson of Memphis; and several nieces and nephews.
   National Funeral Home was in charge.

Birteen Haley DeLapp
   Funeral services for Birteen H. DeLapp, 90, of McCarley, are at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Winona. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery near McCarley.
   Visitation is Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
   Mrs. DeLapp died June 10, 2012, after a lengthy illness.
   She was born on Oct. 16, 1921, to the late Robert Percy Haley and Florence Nail Haley.
   Mrs. Delapp graduated from Milady’s Beauty School on Sept. 1, 1939. Her career lasted for 51 years, until a stroke at age 70 stopped the work she loved. She loved to work in her yard and garden and was a seamstress who spent her extra time crocheting. She was also a lifelong member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church.
   In addition to her parents, preceding Mrs. DeLapp in death are her husband of 65 years, Yancey B. DeLapp; and a sister, Sarah Odell Kolman.
   Surviving Mrs. DeLapp are three children, Yancey B. DeLapp Jr. of North Carrollton, Birteen Shaw of Carrollton, Jo Ann McIlwain of McCarley; two sisters, Irene Hill Carroll of McComb and Louise Bates of Grenada; four grandchildren, a step-grandson, seven great-grandchildren, and a step-great-grandson.
   Memorials may be made to Hickory Grove Cemetery Fund, 441 CR 287, McCarley, MS 38943; or to Gideons International, P. O. Box 388, Winona, MS 38967.

Charlie Griffin
   Funeral services for Charlie “Big Charlie” Griffin, 68, of Grenada, are at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at Bethel Cathedral of Faith. Burial will follow in Haven Rest Cemetery.
   Visitation is Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Clark-Williams Funeral Home.
   Mr. Griffin died June 9, 2012, at Grenada Lake Medical Center.
   He was born on April 27, 1944, and was the son of the late Henry and Pinky Griffin.
   Mr. Griffin was a retired machine operator at Memphis Hardwood in Grenada.
   Surviving Mr. Griffin are his wife, Maude Reed-Griffin of Grenada; three daughters, Menetra China Reed, Jasmine Griffin and Jasmecca Griffin all of Grenada; two sons, Akeyno Griffin of Grenada and Calvin Reed of Meridian; six siblings, Henry Griffin of Rome, Miss., Jimmy Lee Griffin of Drew, Richard Taylor, Robert Griffin, Eddie Griffin, and Lil Griffin all of Elkhart, Ind.

Nathaniel Gordon

   Funeral services for Nathaniel Gordon, 88, of Vallejo, Calif., formerly of Duck Hill, are at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at Binford Chapel UM Church in Duck Hill. Burial will follow in Duck Hill Cemetery.
   Visitation is Saturday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Clark-Williams Funeral Home.
   Mr. Gordon died June 9, 2012, at Kasier Hospital-Vallejo.
   He was born on March 10, 1924, and was the son of the late Rev. Berlin C.  Gordon and Sarah Singleton Gordon.
   Mr. Gordon was a mechanic and a U.S. Navy veteran.
   He is survived by his sister, Gladys Mondy of Duck Hill, and many nieces and nephews.

James H. Janiszewski
   Funeral services for James H. Janiszewski, 48, of Brooklyn, New York, are at 11 a.m. Friday, June 15, at Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Winona. Burial will follow in Coila Cemetery.
   Visitation was Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
   Mr. Janiszewski died June 9, 2012, in Brooklyn of heart failure.
   He was the son of Leonard E. Janiszewski Jr. of Grenada and the late Joyce Ann Sudduth Janiszewski.
   Mr. Janiszewski was a sanitation worker for the city of New York and was of the Catholic faith.
   In addition to his mother, preceding Mr. Janiszewski in death are his grandparents, James and Mattie Sudduth and Leonard E. and Josephine Janiszewski.
   In addition to his father, surviving Mr. Janiszewski are his brother, Leonard E. “Lenny” Janiszewski III and wife, Nancy, of Grenada; and his niece, Hannah Jane Janiszewski.

Cary B. Latham
   Funeral services for Cary B. Latham, 79, of Grenada, are at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, at Abundant Life. Burial will follow in Sweethome Cemetery.
   Visitation is Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Clark-Williams Funeral Home.
   Mr. Latham died June 7, 2012, at Grenada Lake Medical Center.
   He was born on Aug. 22, 1932, and was the son of the late Burton and Pansey Lula Latham.
   Mr. Latham was a retired Grenada Lake Medical Center employee. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting.
   Surviving Mr. Latham are three daughters, Lula Harvey, Josephine Latham and Katie Ards all of Grenada; six sons, Willie B. Latham, Willie C. Latham, James Latham, Cary Lee Latham, Charlie Latham, and Andrew Porter all of Grenada; two sisters, Katie B. Latham of Miami, Fla., and Mattie Lue Beckum of Grenada.

Mary Grace Liles
   Funeral services for Mary Grace Liles, 81, of Coffeeville were held Thursday, June 14, at Calvary Baptist Church in Coffeeville. Interment followed in Elam Cemetery.
   Mrs. Liles died June 12, 2012, at her residence.
   She was born on Jan. 5, 1931, in Coffeeville to the late Ruby C. and Alma Wright Gore.
   Mrs. Liles was a homemaker and a member of Elam Baptist Church.
   In addition to her parents, preceding Mrs. Liles in death are husband, Ben Liles; sisters, Mattie Kilgore, Katie Gammage and Clara Gore; brothers, Robert, Russell, Ruby, Phillip and Walter Gore; and a great-great-grandchild, Jacob Sage Dunn.
   Survivors include her daughter, Bessie Calder of Coffeeville; son, Ben Liles Jr. of Coffeeville; sister, Virginia Castleberry of Wichita, Kan.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Janie Youngblood Palmertree
   Funeral services for Janie Youngblood Palmertree, 71, of French Camp, were at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at Huntsville Church of Christ. Burial followed in Covenant Baptist Church Cemetery near French Camp.
   Mrs. Palmertree died June 12, 2012, at her residence of cancer.
   She was the daughter of the late James Dewitt and Lula Bell Lott Gillon.
   Mrs. Palmertree was an upholsterer and a retired employee of McGregor Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Huntsville Church of Christ.
   In addition to her parents, preceding Mrs. Palmertree in death are her husband Maxie Palmertrees and one sister.
   Survivors include her daughter, Julie Holmes of Poplar Creek; son, Jerome Youngblood of Stewart; sister, Margaret Gillon of French Camp; two brothers, Jimmy Gillon of Amory and Raymond Gillon of Stewart; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
   Memorials may be made to The Breast Cancer Society.

Jean Randle Reynolds
   Funeral services for Jean Randle Reynolds, 82, of Winona, were at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 14, at Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Winona. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona.
   Mrs. Reynolds died June 12, 2012, at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson of heart failure.
   She was the daughter of the late Lamar and Claudia Ware Randle
   Mrs. Reynolds was a retired employee of McGregor Manufacturing in Winona and a member of the former Winona Lions Club. She was a member of Moore Memorial United Methodist Church in Winona.
In addition to her parents, preceding Mrs. Reynolds in death are a sister and a brother.
   Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Parker of Madison and Jill Eskridge of Memphis; three sons, Tom Eskridge of Springfield, Mo., Kevin Eskridge and Jason Eskridge of Winona; a sister, Jane Johnson of Canton, Ga.; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a niece.

Louise Cook Rose
   Louise Cook Rose, 94, of Grenada, died June 10, 2012, at Providence Assisted Living Center. She was born on Aug. 26, 1917, in Calhoun County to the late Phil Cook and Madie Seale Cook.
   Mrs. Rose was a member of Central Baptist Church and a retired school teacher from which she touched many lives as an educator. She taught in the Grenada School system, Kirk Academy and at Gore Springs. She attended Blue Mountain College, Mississippi College and Hillman College.
   Visitation was held Wednesday, June, 13, at 10 a.m. at Garner-Harper Funeral Home with funeral services following at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Interment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Grenada.
   Mrs. Rose is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Howard Rose; a brother, Bobby Cook; and a sister, Dorothy Dinkelacker.
   Garner-Harper Funeral Home was charge.

George Wayne Sansing
   A memorial service for for George Wayne “Big George” Sansing, 64, of Grenada, will be held Saturday, June 16, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Grenada Lake.
   Mr. Sansing died June 9, 2012, at his home of natural causes.
   He was born on Sept. 9, 1947, and was the son of the late Walter Clay Sansing and Georgia Mae Sansing of West Point.
   Mr. Sansing was a milk man, a Baptist and a veteran. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
   Surviving Mr. Sansing are his wife, Janice Marie Farris Sansing of Grenada; two daughters, Opal Mae Sansing and Elizabeth Sansing of Grenada; son George Farris Sansing of Grenada.
   Eddie Robinson Funeral Home is in charge.

Arthur Harry Tekulve
   Arthur Harry Tekulve was the beloved husband of the late Barbara Tekulve for 34 years, dear father of Dennis Tekulve, Diane (Dave) Kitch, Douglas Tekulve, Danette Bronson, Deborah Tekulve, Darrell (Paula) Tekulve, Darlene (Don) Winburn and the late Donald Tekulve, step-father of Tammy Webb and Michael Sudduth, son of the late Helen Tekulve and the late Arthur (Betty) Tekulve, grandfather of Christine, Jeremy, Douglas, Joshua, Chuck, Michael, Solomon, Megan, Junelle, Daniel, Jacob, Jessica, Nicholas, Jessie and Michelle, great-grandfather of 14, beloved nephew of the late Harry Meinke and brother-in-law of Rosie Mitchell, Kate Morman and Peggy Wooten (Buddy).
   Art was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and formerly lived in Grenada.
   Art died very suddenly Sunday, June 10, 2012, age 77 years. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 16, at Garner-Harper Funeral Home in Grenada. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Red Hill Cemetery near Duck Hill where he will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife.
   In lieu of flowers the Tekulve family suggests memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 5211 Madison Road, Cincinnati, OH 45227.
