Three Grenada men face statutory rape charges for incidents involving a 13-year-old girl they reportedly met on Facebook.
According to Grenada County Circuit Court records, the juvenile was reported missing by her family on Aug. 23. She was later found in the Line Street area.
After interviews with the child, David A. Adams, 19, of Pearl Street; Thomas Williams, 19, of Thomas Cove; and Charro Jones, 34, of College Street, were arrested and charged, according to the court records.
Records show the young girl, whose name was not released due to her age and victim status, said she met the three men through the social networking website Facebook.
The girl left her home on Aug. 20 to meet the men during the three day span, records state.
The cases, which are listed separately, are scheduled to be heard during the January winter session of circuit court.

More details about the court session will be available in Tuesday’s edition of the GrenadaStar.
