David Eugene Guy
    Funeral services for David Eugene Guy, 71, of Grenada, were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Newsom Chapel Funeral Home. Burial followed in Stonefield Cemetery.
    Visitation was Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Mr. Guy died March 1, 2010.
    He was a factory worker at Randall Textron in Grenada for 35 years.
    Mr. Guy was preceded in death by his son, “Bubba.”   
    Surviving Mr. Guy are his wife, Inez Smith Green of Grenada; a daughter, Renee Guy Green of Grenada; two sisters, Maureen Monday of Memphis and Mildred Baham of Benton Harbor, Mich.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
    Newsom Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Jonathan Tyler Harrison
    Funeral services for Jonathan Tyler Harrison, 2, of Randolph, Miss., were at 2 p.m. Monday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, Miss. Burial followed in Spring Hill Cemetery.
    Visitation was from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
    Jonathan died March 4, 2010, at LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center in Memphis.
    He was born July 9, 2007, in Oxford to Tyler and Jessie Harrison of Randolph.
    In addition to his parents, survivors include two brothers, Steven Busam and Daniel Lee Harrison, both of Randolph; and a host of grandparents, great-grandparents, God parents, aunts, uncles and other relatives.
    Parker Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

Frances Ree Palmer Humphries
    Graveside services for Frances Ree Palmer Humphries, 79, of Grenada, were at 3 p.m. Monday at the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Winston County.
    Ms. Humphries died March 5, 2010, at Grenada Living Center.
    She was born May 3, 1930, in Winston County, to the late James Thomas and Coley Ree Miles Palmer.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joel Palmer.
    Survivors include three daughters, Melba Heard of Grenada, Margaret Green of Naperville, Ill. and Myra Oppel of Hanover, N.H.; two sons, Ray Humphries of Cody, Wyo. and Richard Humphries of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; a sister, Merry Rainey of Atlanta; four brothers, Haron Palmer of Atlanta, Dr. Rupert Palmer of Bryan, Texas, James Oval Palmer of Warren, Mich., and the Rev. P. T. Palmer of Jackson; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
    Garner-Harper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.   

Dona Virginia Marascalco
    Dona Virginia Marascalco, 94, of Grenada, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Graceland in Grenada. Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 5, at National Funeral Home in Grenada. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 6, at the St. Peters Catholic Church in Grenada. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery in Grenada.
    Ms. Dona was born on April 17, 1915, in Grenada to Charles and Sarah Marascalco. She was a member of the St. Peters Catholic Church. Dona was office manager and dental assistant to Dr. S.A. Marascalco for 45 years. She was President of Arizona Dental Association of Dental Assistants of Arizona. Dona was a dedicated Mom for her brothers and sisters as they grew up, and a dedicated Aunt for all of the second generation Marascalco’s in America.
    Dona was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Sarah Marascalco; a brother, Joe Marascalco; and two sisters, Rose Portera and Mary Portera.
    Survivors include one sister, Louise Hebron of Indianola, Iowa; four brothers, Mellow Joseph “Bone” Marascalco and Dr. John Marascalco, both of Grenada, Dr. Frank Marascalco of Clarksdale and Dr. Sam Marascalco of Tucson, Ariz.
    National Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
