The Grenada Parks and Recreation Department is now registering youth ages 3-16 for the Baseball/Softball Season. The deadline for registering is Friday, March 5.
Applications may be picked up at the Flowers-Perry Park, City Hall, all public schools, Stewart’s Sports & More, Hibbetts Sports, Custom Printing, Expressions, Perfect Touch, Design Creations  Beauty Shops, and Freelon’s, GQ Cuts& Styles Barber Shops.

GYL
The Grenada Youth League is also registering children for its upcoming season.
Deadline is March 6. Registration cards can be found a Stewart’s, W.E. Jackson Office Supply, Spanky’s and Pacesetter along with the local schools.
There will also be sign up days at Wayne Carson Park. Those dates are Feb. 20 and 27th from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and March 6 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Soccer
The Grenada Youth Soccer Organization is in need of officials for it upcoming Spring Season.
Games will be played Tuesday and Thursday. Officials will be paid according to age group.
“It’s a great way for someone to make some extra money,” Judith Eldridge, public relations head said. “Individuals are paid based on age group.”
The season is slated to open Feb. 2 and run until April. Games will be played at Flowers-Perry Park.
Also, the league plans on having adult soccer. Contact Eldridge for info. at 614-2778.
