For years, you only heard about football players lifting weights. Not many other sports believed in getting stronger.
   The times have definitely changed.
Now, the most successful schools across the board can be traced to a solid weight program.
At Grenada High School, all athletes are required to take part in weight lifting. With the increased number of lifters came a need for a bigger area and more equipment.
Just over a week ago, the school received 30 new racks and weights that were placed on the floor of the football fieldhouse. It’s been something that has been a long time coming.
