Campbell Thomas homered and Brooke Thomas was the winning pitcher to lead the Mustangs to an 8-2 win over the Heat in girls 9-14 fastpitch action Tuesday at Wayne Carson Park.
Sophie Brister played well on offense. Lora Ryals and Taylor Harrell were the defensive standouts.
Bryce Smith and Reagan Wooldridge led the Heat offensively. Macie Hames and McKenzie Jones paced the defensive effort.
Hillary Beckwith was the offensive standout to lead the Blaze to an 18-15 win over the Angels.
Alexis Richardson played well on the defensive side.
Gracie Summers and Molly Fly were the offensive standouts for the Angels. Shelby Woodall and Hanna Starnes played well on defense.
In other action, Meredith Meriwether homered to help the Ponytails to a 17-7 win over the Starz.
Chloe White and Kylee Andrews were the offensive standouts. Alyssa Winters and Layla Spires played outstanding defense.
Taylor Kate Hall led the Starz in a losing effort.
Madelyn Green homered to lead the Lady Bulldogs past the Sting 21-7.
Alexis Adams was the winning pitcher. She got offensive help from Lexie Byford and Peyton Jones. Kailey Dorris and Alyssa Davis were the defensive leaders.
Taylor Hansen homered for the Sting. Hailey Conley and Lindsey Hardin were the offensive standouts. Defensively, Madison Brewer led the effort.
In other action, Sydnie Clements, Catherine Pannell, Natalie Watkins, and Savanah Griffin all had homeruns leading the Blue Thunder to a 14-11 win over the Lady Bulldogs.
Marti Simmons and Katie Owens were the offensive standouts for the Blue Thunder. Carley Caulder paced the effort on the defensive side.
Alexis Adams had a grand slam for the Lady Bulldogs in a losing effort. Peyton Jones and Madilyn Green had an outstanding offensive game.
Haley Conley led the defensive charge for the Lady Bulldogs.
Jaxon Haley and Leah Makamson were the offensive leaders for the Hot Shots against the Lookouts. McKenzie Austin and Callie McNabb were the defensive leaders.
Daniel Hopper and Mary Grace Klinck led the Lookouts offensively. Kaily Grace Ramage, Eli Housel, and Kaylob Parker were the defensive standouts.
