Micah Williams had a pair of inside-the-park homeruns, but it wasn’t enough as the Tigers won an 8-7 decision over the Rays in 11-12 boys action at Wayne Carson Park.
Cole Dungan earned the win. He got defensive help John Payton Moore and Gavin McRaney. Reid Mullen and Hayes Harrison paced the offensive effort.
Blake Morgan and Jonathan Davis were the offensive standouts for the Rays in a losing effort. Dawson Carnathan and Dallas Marter played well on the defensive side.
Caroline Perry and Rylee Murphree were the defensive standouts as the Blaze edged the Mustangs 7-5 in fast pitch action.
Kate Blankenship was the winning pitcher. Shanna Melton and Kelsey Goff had an outstanding offensive game.
Sophie Brister and Taylor Harrell led the Mustangs on offense. Hallie Kerr and Lyndi Deloach were the defensive leaders.
Eli Palmer homered to help the Rebels to a 14-6 win over the Angels. Blakely Kirk and Katelyn Bloodworth were the offensive leaders.
Stone McCrory played well on the defensive side.
Katherine Orear and Elle Lucius paced the Angels offensively. Lillian Mattox and Braley Claire Carnathan had an outstanding defensive game.
In other action, Rowdy Staten homered to lead the Wild Things to a 16-14 win over the Crush. Phillip Messina and Will Blaylock were the offensive standouts. Leah Briscoe and Yaj Patel had an outstanding defensive game.
Ty Edwards homered for the Crush. Hannah Carpenter was the offensive standout.
Bryce Williams and Aiden Griffin were the top players on defense for the Crush.
Hayden Baker homered in the Cardinals 11-10 win over the Crush.
Preston Downs was the offensive standout. Brad Deloach and Riley Reed were the defensive standouts.
