   The Kirk Raiderettes put together a solid day on the track at the North AA Track Meet held last weekend at Washington School in Greenville.
   Kirk finished second in the final point standings to champion Canton. KA had 47 total points compared to 70½ for the Lady Panthers. The Raiderettes qualified in 12 events for the State Meet this week.
   On the boys’ side, the Raiders had a total of 28 points to finish fourth in the final team standings. Canton won the title with 63 points.
   The Raiders qualified in six events.

Girls
   Eighth grader Morgan Claire Rose won the 3,200-meter run in 12:21.54. She also captured the 1,600-meter run in 5:40.52. Rose made it the hat trick for the day, winning the 800-meter run in 2:32.74.
   Leggett Steed won the 300-meter hurdles in 51.67.  She was third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.74.
   Lauren Snyder was second in the long jump at 15-9¼. Elizabeth Taylor finished fourth in the 3,200-meter run in 13:31.18 and fourth in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 6:11.16.
   Carley Hudspeth finished fourth in the 400-meter dash in 1:05.35.
   In relays, Lauren Snyder, Leggett Steed, Hudspeth, and Kennedy Snyder were second in the 400-meter race. They turned in a 54.40. Kennedy Snyder, Lauren Snyder, Katie-Noelle Steed, and Hudspeth were fourth in the 800-meter race in 1:56.56.
   Hudspeth, Rose, Annie Box, and Laura Lee Goodwin were third in the 1,600-meter race. They had a time of 4:32.05.

Boys
   Jaggars Denley won the 3,200-meter run in 11:16.96. A sophomore, Denley also won the blue ribbon in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:52.14. He was fourth in the high jump at 5-6.
   Bas Hollingsworth finished second in the 400-meter dash with a 56.27. Gunner Hudspeth was fourth in the 800-meter run in 2:23.72.
   In relays, Taylor Faulkner, Andrew McDurmon, Hudspeth, and Denley won the 3,200-meter race in 9:34.37. The 1,600-meter team of McDurmon, Hudspeth, Hollingsworth, and Dalton Bell were fourth with a time of 3:59.65.
   Field events for the State Track Meet will be Friday at Jackson Academy. The running events are Saturday at Jackson Prep.
