The boil water notice issued late last week for the Poor House Water Association has been lifted, according to a news release from the association late Thursday morning.
Mississippi State Department of Health test results show there is no contamination, and the water is safe to drink, according to the statement.
"Poor House Water Association apologizes for any inconvenience," the closing reads.
The release was issued by Operator-Manager Michael Boyle and Office Manager Wilma Thompson.
