Northern District Service Commissioner Brandon Presley answered questions Tuesday about utilities and spoke about the importance of high-speed internet service during a town hall meeting in Grenada.
Henry Pryor Jr. caught the commissioner’s ear right away.
Pryor asked Presley about what he thought were exorbitant bills with Delta Electric Power Association.
Presley, as he often does, gave Pryor his personal cell phone number and told him to call.
Mable Lee and Bill Wilks of Grenada came to the meeting because they had questions about regulatory practices among utility providers.
Presley assured Wilks and Lee that he’s keeping a close eye on how much money utility providers are allowed to make.
