   Pitbulls are becoming a problem in Grenada, according to councilmen, and the city council and the Grenada Police Department are serious about enforcing the law.
   Pitbull owners might soon have to register with the city, for a minimal fee.
   Two councilmen said that pitbulls recently attacked residents in their wards, and they wanted to see stricter laws.
   “As a city, we can’t afford lawsuits over pitbull attacks,” said Ward Four Councilman the Rev. Ernest Hargrove, in whose jurisdiction a mail carrier was recently cornered by one of the aggressive dogs.
