   The Grenada County Board of Supervisors on Monday voted unanimously to apply for grants through the Mississippi Development Authority that come with hiring stipulations.
   Contractors who work on grant-funded rehabilitation projects must make a concerted effort to hire low-income workers and those from public housing, according to an MDA official.
   LaKeylah White advised the board that the state is buckling down on a law, known as Section   Three, that has been in place for some time, calling for the hiring of low-income workers.
