Grenadians shivered this week as near record cold temperatures shocked the area.
Temperatures dipped into the single digits Sunday night and again on Monday and Tuesday.
It hadn’t been this cold over a three-day stretch since 1940, according to the National Weather Service in Memphis.

About 20 Grenadians reported that their house pipes had frozen, and they needed their water cut off temporarily, according to Grenada Water Superintendent Dale Ratliff.
