A Grenada woman was killed when the car she was driving collided with a semi on Dec. 26, according to Highway Patrol reports.
According to TFC Tony Dunn, public affairs officer with the Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop D, a woman he identified as Shelia Frost, 48, was headed west around 10:30 a.m.  and attempted to turn around at the intersection of Donley Road and Highway 8 West, when she turned into the path of an oncoming truck.
“Vehicle one, a 2012 Kenworth delivery truck, driven by Herbert Davis, 56, from Greenwood, was traveling west on Highway 8,” said Dunn. “He (Davis) collided with the driver’s side door of her car.”
Frost was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Dunn. Davis was not harmed. Both were wearing their seat belts.
Coworkers said that Frost worked at Kirk Chevrolet.
“The accident is still under investigation,” said Dunn.
