Police were called to the home on South Lamar Boulevard near the city’s southern limits around 6 a.m. Friday after a family member found the two dead.
Rumors abounded a few hours later that a person was in custody, but by late morning East said no one had been arrested.
“We’ll be interviewing people as the investigation goes on, and people will be coming and going,” East said. “There is no particular suspect yet.”
Investigators believe four people lived in the household, and all are account for.
