According to Capt. George Douglas, the initial report police received was that a man he identified as Timothy Ross, 40, had stabbed Clarence Edward Ford, 45.
In an unrelated incident, at 9:03 p.m., police responded to a call of shots fired in the 1000 block of Sweethome Rd.
Upon arrival police found Kenneth Maxwell Spells, 56, lying in the front yard, Douglas said.
