   After one round of the 55th Grenada Invitational Golf Tournament, Miles Respess found himself in a battle for the lead with Michael Naaman of Greenville. Both had an opening round score of 66.
   Sunday, Respess struggled on the front nine. Heading into the final nine holes, he stood at 4-over, six shots back of the leader. That’s when he his move.
   The Paragould, Ark., native then birdied five straight holes to overtake Naaman winning the tournament title by one shot. Respess, a former East Mississippi Community College golfer and Delta State signee, finished with a six-over 136. Naaman finished with a five-under 137.
   “It’s the biggest tournament win for me,” Respess said. “I was able to make some birdies down the stretch.”
