The truck was abandoned after it got stuck.

Staff Reports

Someone went for a mud ride in a field planted in cotton, and it’s got officials with the Grenada Economic Development District up-in-arms.
According to Coley Bailey Jr., who leases the property from the Grenada Economic Development  District, what someone thought would be a harmless prank will have economic consequences.
The field is located in the Grenada Air Industrial Park, between Riverdale Road and Highway 7.
After a night of mud riding, the pranksters abandoned the truck. The Grenada County Sheriff’s Office had it towed Thursday.
According to Sheriff Alton Strider, the truck was registered to Randy Blaylock, who is a coach at Grenada Middle School.
“I figure they did two or three hundred dollars worth of damage,” said Bailey.
