It was a busy Spring Break for the Kirk Academy baseball team.
Rains forced the postponement of the Clarksdale Lee Invitational early last week. However, those games were eventually moved to Grenada. Kirk lost a 4-3 decision to Bayou and followed that up two days later with a 12-5 win over Delta Academy.
Friday, the Raiders took to the road traveling to West Point facing the host Oak Hill Raiders and the Lamar School Rebels from Meridian. Kirk lost a lead late against Oak Hill losing a 7-4 contest. They would bounce back later in the day edging Lamar 3-2.
