Heading into the 2013 season, Grenada High School baseball coach Jake Yarborough didn’t know what he would be getting from senior pitcher Hunter Bull.
Bull sustained a torn labrum during the fall. Instead of opting for surgery, he elected to rest the shoulder. That moved seems to have paid off.
Saturday, Bull made his second appearance of the season against Water Valley at the Med Stat Classic.
He pitched like a man on a mission going six innings allowing three hits while striking out eight, and walking just one. His teammates gave him plenty of offensive support as Grenada won a 10-0 decision over the Blue Devils.
