There was an unknown concerning the Grenada High School pitching staff heading into the 2013 season.
Coach Jake Yarborough and his staff were depending on a number of new arms this spring. Also, senior Hunter Bull, the Chargers No. 1 starter, was dealing with an injury that left his status unknown for not only the tournament but for the season.
The pitchers were the story of the day for GHS at the Starkville Invitational over the past weekend. Three pitchers, including Bull, combined for just a walk in 14 innings as Grenada defeated Louisville 7-4 and Kosciusko 4-1.
