In the Kirk Raiderettes’ losses this season, missing easy shots, turnovers, and missing free throws were the main reasons for the losses.
Two of those reared their ugly heads in Thursday’s North AA Second Round contest against Prairie View (La.) at Leake Academy in Madden.
Kirk used an 18-5 second period to lead 26-19 at halftime. In the third period, the Raiderettes were outscored 9-0. They were never able to recover losing a 43-39 decision.
