Family is very important to both Larry and Sissy Pierce.
That’s the approach they took for their years in the restaurant business. It’s the exact same reason they will be leaving that business.
After running The Donut Shop for over three decades, the couple have sold it for the third and final time. The reason – to spend more time with their grandkids. They made it official late last week by selling the business to Grenadian Jimmie Lewis.
“It’s been a good run,” Larry Pierce said. “Not many people can say that they can go out on their own terms. We’ve been looking forward to this moment for a long time. I’m ready to retire and play with my grandchildren.”
