   After losing a pair of games to the Indianola Academy Lady Colonels, Kirk coach Amy Carroll Hudspeth was looking to change things up a bit. She was looking to throw something at them they hadn’t seen in the previous two meetings.
   One of the biggest changes was Kirk only used their press twice in the contest. Then, it was man press instead of zone press. They wanted to get the Lady Colonels in a half court game.
   The changes worked although the game almost slipped away in the final period. Kirk built a 20-9 lead and held on for a 25-23 decision.
