The GrenadaStar has been notified that all athletic events scheduled for tonight have been cancelled. Officials made the decision following the murder of freshman football player Marlon Morgan.

Grenada was scheduled to face Tupelo in district soccer action at Charger Stadium. The boys and girls’ basketball teams were to have hosted DeSoto Central. No makeup dates have been announced.
