Road advisory for Mississippi

| The Mississippi Department of Transportation announced Thursday that due to Hurricane Katrina the following highways are closed to traffic: U.S. 90 from Waveland to Ocean Springs. Interstate 10 eastbound between Mississippi 57 and Mississippi 613 and some small arteries in southern Hancock County. The Department of Public Safety is prohibiting non-emergency travel in areas bordered by the Pearl River from Louisiana north to Columbia, and U.S. 98 East to Hattiesburg and Mississippi 42 from Hattiesburg to State Line.
