Local residents can get free supply

| The Grenada County Soil and Water Conservation District has received its funding for Fire Ant poison and now has supplies available for Grenada County residents. Soil and Water Conservation District secretary Natasha Culp said any city or county resident is eligible for the free ant poison. "They need to bring in a current water bill, and they can get two bottles of poison each month," she said. The Soil and Water Conservation District has moved into its new offices at 2330 Sunset Drive (Highway 8 West), in the USDA Service Center. For more information, call 226-4691. |
