Guilty plea in murder for hire plot

   A Grenada man accused of in a murder-for-hire plat aimed at his wife, pleaded guilty.
   According to Grenada County Circuit court recoress, Robert Laspee Jr., has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit murder. Ten of the years are suspended, and he will be on five years probation after being released from prison.
   Laspee was arrested in April after he conferred with a confidential informant, working the Grenada Police Department, and tried to hire the CI to kill his wife.
