The Balloons Over Grenada Festival keeps the good times rocking tonight with a balloon glow, fireworks and plenty of good music.
The carnival kicks off today at noon, with a midway including games, rides and tasty treats.
At dusk, tethered balloons will rise and fire their burners to display their colors for the crowd. Cartooned-shaped balloons will fly for the amusement of children.
“This is a family festival, so we’ve tried to incorporate several different elements for people to enjoy,” said Samantha Hilmus, executive director of the Grenada Tourism Commission, which helped plan the event.

Musical lineup
Blues artists Milestone, county singers Jonathan Brown along with Joe Kendall and his band are slated to perform tonight.
Nashville recording artist and Grenada  native Kristen Brassel will be the headliner, taking the stage about 9 p.m.
