Unity meeting Thursday

Ward Three City Councilman Lewis Johnson is calling upon all Grenada citizens to attend a special meeting Thursday for the cause of unity.
“We’ll have a number of civic organizations coming together which work toward a common goal,” said Johnson. “For instance, people from the Unity Committee, the Smile Committee and Mission Mississippi, all which share a common vision of a diverse yet unified Grenada, will have representatives there.”
The event will be at 6 p.m. at the Lewis Johnson Senior Citizens Complex.
Johnson said he’s been looking around at other cities, like Tupelo and Greenwood, that seem to have benefitted from such events.
