Police are searching for two men who committed armed robberies this weekend in west-central Grenada, as well as for someone who stole electrical equipment from a city park.
According to Capt. George Douglas with the Grenada Police Department, the first armed robbery occurred about 8 p.m. March 28, outside the Subway restaurant on the Frontage Road off Highway 8 West.
An unknown black male entered a parked car, brandishing a gun, and demanded money from the car’s female driver, said Douglas.
The suspect stole a wallet, then fled on foot.
No suspects are being questioned at this time, Douglas said.
The second incident happened about 10 p.m. Saturday night at the Dollar Tree on Sunset Boulevard.
