A Motown musician and Gore Springs native will be honored alongside four other legendary Grenada County musicians at a ceremony on Monday.
Eddie Willis, who still lives on a road named after him in Gore Springs, will receive a Blues Trail marker from the Mississippi Blues Commission.
The ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. on the courthouse square.
The marker will also honor Grenada bluesmen Walter Davis, who recorded in the 1930s, harmonica player George Brock and guitar players Magic Sam and Magic Slim.
