Local Miss. State alumni chapter to have dinner

  The Grenada-Montgomery County Chapter of the Mississippi State Alumni Association will have its annual event Tuesday, October 8 beginning at 6 p.m. at First and Green.
  Tailgating and social hour begins the night’s activities followed by dinner at 7 p.m. The featured guests will be Matt Jolly, Chaplain to the baseball team; Sleepy Robinson, Recruiting Specialist for the football team, and Dr. Roy Ruby, past interim president of Miss. State and retired longtime employee of the university.
  Tickets will be $15 and can be purchased at Stewart’s Sports & More or at the door the night of the event. Ticket grids are $10 each with a chance to win $500. All proceeds go towards scholarships for local area students and chapter projects.
